Alex grew up in Brighton and was very musical from a young age. He started learning piano and violin when he was 8 before picking up guitar when he was 12. With best friend Oli Evans, he would busk in the streets of Brighton for pocket money and it was only when he go a place at the prestigious BRIT School where he began to take music more seriously.

When Alex was 18, he moved up to London to pursue his career spending 3 years training at Mountview Academy. This was when he started writing his own material. 

After graduating in 2013, Alex very quickly started to make a name for himself on the music scene, gigging throughout London. He released his debut EP, Duvet Days in 2014 which launched at the famous PROUD Camden. This included the song 'Where Do I Fit In?' with music video starring Louisa Connolly-Burnham!

Alex's next release came about a year later with his Single, 'Chocolate Bar'. This launched to a packed out Phoenix Artist Club with support from Joe Sterling. Alex then toured the UK promoting this single playing all over. 

In 2015, he took part in the Mayor of London's busking competition to find London's best busker! The final took place at Westfields and Alex took home the Eurostar Prize taking him over to Paris to gig and busk!

Early in 2016, Alex supported the Tailormade as the launched their debut album 'Thoughts, Fears and Beers' at the O2 Academy, Islington. He then went on tour with Samantha Barks playing to theatres all over the UK including Shoreditch Town Hall and G Live in Guildford (which Russell Crowe attended)! He also managed to get to the grand final of London based competition, Pride's Got Talent which culminated at the Charing Cross Theatre. Alex went on to this win this and so got to play to thousands at Pride in London. 

Alex has been busy writing new material and has lots to share. He has recently performed with best friend Joe Sterling at the Leicester Square Theatre, performing the songs of Alex and Joe! He also had a gig at the Union Theatre with friend and lyricist Robert Gould.
